Dear FotoBridge, I have to say I was very hesitant to send 1000 family slides to strangers. But I bought a slide converter and tried to do it myself but the pictures were coming out just terrible so I had to trust someone. FotoBridge your team is FANTASTIC! You have far exceeded my expectations. Your On-line chat group kept me informed as we moved along and the pictures…well…I just don’t know what to say they are beyond beautiful and crystal clear as if we just snapped them yesterday.

I cried as I looked through the years of my life and the lives of my parents and siblings. My Mom passed a while back but I’ll be seeing my 91 year old Dad for Christmas this year and I can’t wait to show him what you’ve done. I will be spreading the word about you to everyone I know. Thanks FotoBridge for a great job of scanning “A Lifetime of Photos”, the title of the Photo Index included with the DVDs containing the scanned images of the over 1100 35 mm slides that I submitted. I have loaded the images onto the primary PC on my network so that my wife and I may view them on our networked big screen TV. That’s as good as it gets! If this is how you plan to view your photos, I would suggest that you pick the Platinum (4000 dpi) upgrade. This way, if you ever upgrade to one of the huge 4K 84″ TVs, your photos will appear spectacular! It will be a while before I do that, but at least I am ready! For your information, the size of a 35 mm slide scanned at 4000 dpi is about 5222 x 3515 pixels, the equivalent of an 18 megapixel digital camera!

Let me start by saying, “WOW!”

I was very leery sending off my Grandmother’s 50 year-old slides to have them converted to digital formats and a slide show. Right from the start, Lori in customer service, answered every question I had and built my confidence that this project would be handled correctly. The easy-to-follow instructions on your website about ordering and packaging and shipping the slides were great.

I really appreciated the e-mail confirmation about receipt of the package and the status updates. But, the best was yet to come.

When I opened the first DVD and saw that someone took the time to title it “A Lifetime of Memories”, I was touched. When I began to play the show, I was impressed with the music selection and the transition of the 1,000 slides. Amazing! The order in which I sent the slides was followed perfectly. I am sure many people took the time to make this right. Worth every penny! You are going to make many of my relatives happy this holiday season.

I was completely skeptical about how well the scans would come out,having grown frustrated trying to scan negatives myself with two different scanners. I sent a test batch of 250 negatives and just received the DVD this afternoon. The pictures are awesome – none of the dust and disruptions I was getting with my own attempts. This was worth every penny and I’ll be sending the next batch tomorrow!

During the past six months I believe you’ve converted about 13,000 photos, slides and negatives for my grandfather, my father and myself! This will be a wonderful legacy to leave to my children and hopefully soon grandchildren. My father passed away in December 2011. I’ve looked at photos videos and movies that I hadn’t seen in decades it’s very exciting. Our next project will be movie films passed down from my grandfather, my father and also my own movies. By brother told me there were online sites that made digital files of prints slides and negatives. Up to this point I had digitized my own with fairly good results. However, I found it very time consuming and struggled with dust on both negatives and slides. I found you through Google and decided to try you out with a thousand 35mm negatives. The results are spectacular.

Not only are these the sharpest renditions of these photos I have yet seen, but the color balance and contrast is perfect. Your process is calibrated right on. Also, these images are so free of dust they look like they were taken with a digital camera.

As soon as I can gather them together, I will be sending you slides. My photos go back to 1932. This could be a long marriage.
