The University of New Hampshire (UNH) is one of the leading academic institutions in biochemistry, microbiology, nutrition and the biomedical sciences. The university offers several undergraduate and graduate programs together with world-class research capabilities and opportunities. UNH faculty had been using large collections of Clinical Hematology (blood cell) images for laboratory seminars captured on 35mm Kodachrome slides. FotoBridge insured the accurate transition of these analog images to digital, renewing and improving images utilized for over 30 years.
The transition to digital has enabled faculty to move forward with today’s technology while continuing to leverage and expand the uses of quality academic content. Blood cell and other medical images often require special color treatment during scanning and post-processing to ensure accurate color matching. FotoBridge has developed specific Medical content imaging techniques (for transparencies/film) that ensure the highest quality results.
