Georgia Tech Research Institute (GTRI) engaged FotoBridge to arrange, organize, classify and digitize a large collection of photographic prints, transparencies and other items. The collection included images and significant information covering 75 years of innovation and the technologies, breakthroughs, leaders and experience of this leading research institution. The resulting digital content helped form a robust photo and historical document archive, now available globally through the GTRI online site. The online historical archive contains a rich history highlighting the organization’s fundamental purpose of real world research that solves tough problems for government and industry. As part of this effort, GTRI chose FotoBridge’s “Text Note Archiving” service to capture and index archive metadata.
